Bio Garantie d.o.o. supports farms and processors in food sector and helping them to develop sustainability and strengthen their market position. Our company for years achieved success certification in domestic market of organic agriculture, organic processing and organic food production together in collaboration with the international departments, thanks to which the number of our clients is constantly growing. Our main task is to investigate whether organic products were produced according to the EU organic regulation, from field inspection of the plots up to the placing the products on the shop shelves.
Following your contact with us, we inform you about everything you need to know for organic farming, processing and trade. With signing of the inspection contract and registering in the organic system you are obligated to correspond with the requirements of the EU organic regulations and the national laws. Records of farming have to be documented through the whole year. Some of those records have to be reported to us as well.
With the inspection and certification process we validate whether all requirements included in the applicable organic standards and regulations are fulfilled. Our inspectors control farms, processing units and traders according to the previously arranged plan. The inspector is creating an inspection report based on the findings during the inspection. Beside annually main inspection a random inspection may also be conducted. In the case of any deviations from prescribed regulations, inspector has to give the deadline, until when it is necessary to complete the specified corrective measures. In case when farms, processing units and traders have established high risk (based on risk evaluation) or any suspicion, sampling can be done. After inspection one of our certifiers evaluate the inspection report and data from inspection according to the rules of EU organic regulation and national laws. The certifier gives the status to the products and if necessary changes the inspector’s decision. In this case the certifier modifies the inspection report and sends it out to the client. Our client may disapproves the content of the inspection report in writing within 14 days, otherwise it is taken as accepted. If inspected farms, processing units or traders complies with the requirements, our company will issue a certificate. The certificate is valid from the date of issuing and confirms that the products/services are complied with relevant EU and national regulations. The certificate shows all crops, products and services that were inspected with their valid status. In case the fee of the inspection and/or certification is not paid, we are unable to issue a certificate.
Organic certificates issued by our company are available on our EASY-CERT certification-search platform, which enables a direct access for our clients and organic interested parties to their certificate and the status of their crops, products and services. Thanks to EASY-CERT platform consumers can be reassured that the product they purchase is marked with the corresponding organic status.
